Exercise in Water
Wednesdays 9.00-10.00am
Water has long been used as a medium for exercise both recreationally to improve general fitness and health and as part of a rehabilitation programme for persons recovering from injuries. Water based exercise classes suits many people and not just those you can swim. Water based exercise is extremely popular for the elderly, pregnant women and those who are overweight. The class includes a mobility and warm up section, followed by an aerobic workout for 25 minutes, a body conditioning section using resistance equipment and finishing with a stretching section.
